Frank C. Herbolsheimer, son of Sebastian and Marian Herbolsheimer, was born in a log house in Selby township near Shabbona school, Bureau County, Illinois, April 24, 1868, and died in Chicago September 21, 1932, aged 64 years, four months, and twenty-four days.
Mr. Herbolsheimer lived in Selby township all his life. October 24, 1894, he was united in marriage with Miss Ida Weber, of Hall township. To this union were born five children. They are Arthur, who lives near Princeton; Mabel, wife of Charles Koener, whose home is in La Salle county; Lewis, who resided in Princeton township; and Leroy and Frank, who are still at home. There are four grandchildren, Melvin and Earl Herbolsheimer, sons of Arthur; Helen Koerner, daughter of Mabel; and Roger Herbolsheimer, son of Lewis.
Besides the widow and the above named children and grandchildren the departed leaves behind him three sisters and three brothers. They are Miss Mary, of Peru; Charles F., of Silt, Colo.; William, of Green Oak; Mrs. John Weber, of Peru; Mrs. Elmer Cooper, whose home is in the state of Ohio; and George, of Peru. Another brothers, John, passed away in October, 1931. A half brother John also passed on a few years ago.
The funeral was held from the family residence, east of Princeton, at 2:00 p. m. Friday, September 23, and was in charge of Rev. Allen O. Becer. Burial was made in Prairie Repose cemetery at Dover.
