Lois moved with her parents to Adrian and worked at Safeway Egg Co. for almost twelve years. In 1964, she attended Nettleton Institution in Omaha, NE and enrolled in computers and accounting training. Lois received her GED on May 19, 1965. She worked for Northern Natural Gas Co. in Omaha for twenty-five years.
Lois married Louie Kleine on September 4, 1965. In 1987, Lois & Lou took early retirement and moved to Luverne. She worked for Midwest Bank part time. In 1988, the couple began wintering in Texas at Alamo Recreational Park in Alamo, TX where she worked in the office for eighteen years. After Lou died, she went back for two winters and managed at East Gate Park in Harlingen, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lou on Feb. 21, 2007; brother, Ervin (Elsie) Bergman; and many nieces & nephews.
