Louise Margaret Kaliszewski of Mora died on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 78 years old.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1933 in Trosky, Minn. to parents, Herman and Anna (Meester) Boomgaarden. In her childhood years she lived in Southwestern Minnesota. The family moved to Inver Grove and she attended and graduated from South St. Paul High School. She was united in marriage to Edmond Kaliszewski in South St. Paul on May 9, 1953. They raised three boys; Mike, Bob and Scott and one daughter, Sharon.
She and her husband moved to Mora in 1975 and resided there until her death.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher; brother, John; sisters, Ida and Harmina and parents, Anna and Herman.
She is survived by husband, Edmond; children, Mike (Sheryl) Kaliszewski, Bob (Deb) Kaliszewski, Scott (Brenda) Kaliszewski and Sharon (Terry) Lewellin; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Robert (Eileen) Boomgaarden, Don (Shirley) Boomgaarden and Marie Rimnac; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at the Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home of Mora with Rita Clasemann officiating. Music was provided by the Northern Lights Bluegrass Band.
Inurnment was in the Oakwood Cemetery of Mora.
Arrangements are by the Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home of Mora.
