Joseph A. "Tony" Hardesty, 86 years old passed away on March 31, 1999. He was born August 18, 1911 in Meade County, Kentucky into a family of ten children. When he was a teenager, his mother died. Tony then mover to Tulsa to live with relatives. He was the owner of Hardesty's Finer Foods.
He was preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by a son, Richard Anthony "Dick" Hardesty of Ennis, Texas and a daughter, Shirley Stewart of Cheney, Washington.
He donated his remains for medical research..
