He was the son of the late Nathan Franklin Crowe and Janie Susan Garrett Crowe and the widower of Iris Ellenburg Crowe. He was survived by son, James, Dempsy, Elvis, Jay Harold, Roger and Donnie Crowe; daughters, Norma Martin, Dennie Ruth Turner, Barbara Gillespie, Evelyn Seigle, Gynell Meyer, Betty Jean Taylor, and Bonnie Crowe; 38 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Brenice Crowe; brothers, Furman and Rose Crowe; and a sister, Grace Peacock.
