Warren C. Martin, age 77, retired farmer of Columbus, died Wednesday evening at Maude Norton Memorial hospital in Columbus, he was admitted to the hospital Wednesday morning.

He was born Nov 15, 1887, in Clinton Missouri. At the age of four he moved with his parents to a farm near Eureka Kansas. In 1914 he moved to a farm near Columbus. He was married to Miss Hattie M. Relf on Dec 8, 1909 in Columbus. He died Jun 13, 1960.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Alice Price, Boise Ida., and Mrs. Letha Mae Abbott, Vancover Wash.; two sons, Verl Martin, Baxter Springs Kansas and Leonard Martin, Columbus R. R. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Wilkerson, Chanute Kansas and Mrs. O'dessa Wells, Gridley Kans; two brothers, Howard Martin, Ponca City Oklahoma and Hubert Martin, Piedmont Kansas.
