Mrs. Lucy White, relict of Horace White died at her home on Saturday last after a lingering sickness. Her age was eighty years. She came to this town with her husband fifty years ago and has lived since that time upon the same farm on which they then settled. Thus in the death of Mrs. White another of our ancient landmarks is removed. Her funeral was held this afternoon in the Baptist church, the discourse being preached by Dr. J. S. Lee, of Canton.
