Dr. J. Edison Goldsmith was a retired physician and surgeon. Born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Jacob and Jennie Grant Goldsmith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Heineman Goldsmith (died 1975) and by his wife, Judith Cohen Goldsmith (died 1997). Also preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Goldsmith Rosenbaum (died 1988). Survived by his son, Jack, and one granddaughter.
