Elva Laura 'Ebbie' Newcomer, 76, of Harding Avenue, Hershey, died Thursday in Twin Oaks Nursing Center, Campbelltown. She had worked for the former Mrs. Miller's Pies in Palmdale and was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church of Palmyra and the Hummelstown Kitchen Band. She was the widow of Allen R. Newcomer. Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Tiley and Ellen Diefenderfer, both of Ashland, and Jean Gross of Lavelle; and a granddaughter. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in her church. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Twp. Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra, is handling arrangements.
