"Funeral services for Kathryn Spear Wright, 92, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Rev. Mike Schutz officiating.
Mrs. Wright passed away Friday morning, November 2, 2012, at a local nursing home.
Kathryn Spear Wright was born June 27, 1920, in Longview, to Wilma Godfrey Spear and Emmett Hamilton Spear. She graduated from Longview High School in 1936 and Baylor University in 1940.
In February of 1943, she married M.G. Wright Jr., and they had two children. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in September of this year.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ann LePelley; her son, Larry Wright; three grandchildren, Jon LePelley and his wife, Linda, Jeff LePelley and his wife, Melanie, and Tamara LePelley. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Christopher LePelley and his wife, Catherine, and Cody Joe LePelley and his children, Presley and Mayson LePelley.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Longview, 400 North Fredonia Street, Longview, Texas 75601; or to Heart'sWay Hospice, P.O. Box 5608, Longview, Texas 75608."
