Mrs. Jepson died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, William Lars Jepson, in Peniel after an illness of several weeks. She was a native of Ingle, Ky., and had been a resident of Putnam County for 32 years and was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.
Survivors beside her son include two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Jones, Newburn, N.C. and Mrs. Roberta Jepson Futch-Simmons, Palatka; another son, E. M. Jepson, Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, Thomas D. Hainey, Ingle, Ky., and Smith Grant Hainey, Belmont, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Wednesday, 2 Apr 1958.)
