Mrs. Rosa Lee Cannon Arnold (1866-1940), 74, died this morning at her home in Peniel following an illness of two months duration.
Mrs. Arnold, a lifelong resident of Putnam County, was born in Peniel November 24, 1866, the daughter of R. J. and Mary Cannon.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Black, Peniel and two sons, R. C. Arnold of Miami, and G. L. Arnold of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Cyrus Pinner Cannon of Peniel, and two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Drennan, Peniel and Mrs. Belle Comstock, of St. Augustine.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Peniel Baptist Church and interment will be made in the Peniel cemetery. Rev. Cecil Underwood will officiate at the services.
