June 25, 1935 — July 15, 2023
North Oaks, MN
Dorie, as she like to be called, was born on June 25, 1935 to Edwin (Deceased) and Eleanor (Nee Lutz) Powers (Deceased).
She graduated from South St. Paul High School.
She is survived by brothers Bill, Tom, Rich, Patrick (Deceased), sisters, Rita, Mary and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her first love and husband was Edward William Moore (deceased), whom she had one son with, Edward (wife Jayne).
Together, Dorie and Ed spent much of their life watching Eddie grow up playing hockey and had many friends in the hockey community. Dorie worked at 3M for many years as an administrative assistant and retired from there.
After Ed's passing she found her second love and married Richard Eikos (Deceased).
Richard had daughters, Dana and Karen, and a son, Steve.
Dorie and Richard spent their time enjoying traveling, especially to Venice Italy, and between the cabin in Brainerd and their home in Naples Florida.
She was a devout Catholic and member of Guardian Angels in Woodbury, Minnesota while married to Ed. While with Richard, she attended St John's, in Little Canada.
Dorie led a full life and was luckiest of all to find two men who loved, cared for and cherished her. Her faith in Jesus Christ never wavered. She spent her final years at Brookdale Memory Care, in North Oaks, Minnesota. We should all be as lucky as her to have a life surrounded by loved ones and being loved.
Arrangements by Bradshaw Funeral Home.
