A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Aarol A. Thibodeaux, Sr., 82, who passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 7:25 P.M. at St. Joseph Carpenter House in Lafayette.
Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of The Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
Survivors include his wife, sixty years, Carole L. Thibodeaux of Church Point; one daughter, Celeste and husband, Boyd Guy of Lafayette; one son, Aarol Thibodeaux, Jr. of Canton, GA; two sisters, Brenda Bertinot of Lafayette, and Vickie and husband, Stanley Tiner of Biloxi; two grandchildren, Abigail Guy of Lafayette, and Zachary Guy of Lafayette.
Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene R. Thibodeaux; one brother-in-law, Gerald Bertinot.
