Margaret Alice was daughter of Andrew Franklin Corrie and Mary Emaline Corrie. Her age 22 years, 11 months and 12 days. She united with the Christian church about 6 years before her death. According to her obituary published in the Sumner Press, Sumner Illinois , March 25, 1909. Alice had said "she was ready to die. Her little boy came to her bedside and she said"John you will not have a mamma very long, the doctors can't do me any good". She said she was going to be in heaven to meet her mother. Mrs. Effie Holson took her hand and told her that was the best thing she could wish for on earth and she said yes it was. The funeral service was held Wednesday at the Hopewell church and interment at Moffett Cemetery, Lawrence Co Illinois.
