JANUARY 24, 1960 – JULY 6, 2020

It is with great sadness that we the family of Francis Dugas of Alder Point/Sydney Mines announce his passing on July 6, 2020. Francis was born on January 24, 1960 to the late Michael and Miriam (Buffet) Dugas of Alder Point. He is survived by his children Audrey Mae of Sydney River, Virginia Marie of Sydney Mines and Michael Joseph of Edmonton, grandchildren Christina, Jacob, Sarah and David and sister Audrey (Ron) Radies of Calgary. Dad was a fisherman and in more recent years worked out west. Dad enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and collecting. He loved to tinker. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Catherine and brothers Freeman and Bobby. Cremation has taken place. A family/friends graveside service will be held Thursday, July 23 at 3:00 pm at St Joseph's Cemetery, Little Bras d'Or with Fr. Patrick McLeod officiating.
