George J. Seetin, 69, died early Sunday morning at his home in Perry. He was born in the Kanwaka neighborhood, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Seetin, and had lived at Perry 38 years.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Irene Seetin of the home; 10 sons, Fay Seetin, Perry; Charles Seetin and Elbert Seetin, Topeka; Alvin Seetin and David Seetin, Winnebago, Minn; Galand Seetin and Hugh Seetin, Kansas City; Howard Seetin, Coffeyville; Durel Seetin, Atchison, and Roy Seetin of the home; one daughter, Miss Reba Seetin, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Newt Hamiln and Mrs. Mattie Skinner, Lawrence, and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Perry Methodist Church, with the Rev. J. W. Bolton in charge. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rumsey Funeral Home until noon Tuesday.
