Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 9:00am until service time. Ministry Services will follow visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 11:00am. Services will conclude afterward with burial to take place privately by the family on a later date.
CJ was well respected outgoing young man. He leaves to cherish His father, Carl Poindexter, Sr., grandparents, Billy Joe Barrios and Daniel Barrios. Twin sister, Carinasia Poindexter and four sisters; Bria, Carlaya, Brittany and Alycia. Five brothers; Jermany, Jessie, Travis, Harold, and Jayden. Three nieces, one nephew and host of nieces, nephews, 2aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Carl is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Barrios; grandmother; Mary Lee Poindexter, two aunts Gail Poindexter and Rachael Barrios.
