LEWIS W. MOBLEY, 69, of Macclenny died Friday (24 Aug 1950) afternoon at the residence following an illness of several months.

Mobley was a native of Georgia and resided in Baker County for 60 years. He was a member of the Macedonia Methodist Church and for 20 years served as county commissioner prior to his retirement.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nellie Mobley; one daughter, Mrs. Willie Rhoden; three sons, Charlton, Lee and Luther Mobley; one sister, Mrs. Ida Chalker, and one brother, A.J. Mobley, all of Macclenny.

Funeral :services will be Sunday at 3 P. M. from the Macedonia Methodist Church in Baker County, with the Rev. J. D. Williams officiating. The body will rest at the residence until 1 P. M., at which time it will be moved to the Macedonia Church to rest until the funeral hour. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of John M. Brinkley of Macclenny.
