ROGERSVILLE -- Crystal Brooks Price, 79, 125 Marion St., Rogersville, died Monday (May 2, 1988) at Takoma Adventist Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Hawkins County, she was a charter member of Henards Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Cleta Williams and Mrs. Pearl Harrell; and two brothers, Bud Brooks and Etter Brooks.
Surviving are her husband, A. Jack Price, Rogersville; two daughters, Mrs. Gale (Kathleen) Wright, Rogersville, and Mrs. James (Wanda) Stogner, Pigeon Forge; one son, Carroll Price, Rogersville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Helen B. Worley, Louisville, Ky., Bernice B. Allen, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary B. Hamblen and Margie Trent, both of Rogersville; two brothers, E.C. Brooks, Kingsport, and Claude Brooks, Rogersville.
Calling hours are from 7 to p.m. Tuesday at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Richard D. Cassidy officiating.
Burial will be in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens."
