Mrs. Dora Teater

Dora A. Elam, daughter of _ and Harriet Elam, was born in Confidence, Ia., Dec. 11, 1870, and departed this life Monday morning at 1:45, June 22, 1942, at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 10 days, [her] death occurring at the place of birth.
In April, 1888, she was united in marriage with Calvin S. Teater of Griffinsville, Iowa, who survives her in death. To this union __ children were born, one dying in infancy. Those surviving her __ Burr and Martin of Mystic, __ H. James of Plano, Iowa; and _ Isabel L. Walsh of Dubuque, Ia., also three brothers and one sister; Douglas of Seaside, Oregon; _ C. of Forrest Grove, Montana, _ M. of Plano, Iowa, and Mrs. Patricia Cozad of Centerville, Iowa; in addition to these, several grand children.
Mr. and Mrs. Teater celebrated their golden wedding anniversary four years ago. The departed was converted and baptized into the Chariton River Baptist church in her early life. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, an __ and faithful christian until th___ of her God-appointed time. All __ who knew her, loved and respected her.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 24 at the Chariton River Baptist church, in the afternoon at two o'clock, in charge of the Rev. Luther W. Childs. Interment in the Concord cemetery.
