She was born May 30, 1917 in Hudson to Oscar M. and Dawn Neher Lyon.
Surviving are one nephew, Terry Lyon of Bolingbrook; and one niece, Penelope Giannios of Darien.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
She was a Marine Corps veteran, serving in 1943.
