Clarence married (1) Edwina Rae ROWELL on 25 Nov 1947, and (2) Mldred L. BRIMER on 17 Mar 1968. He was the son of Clarence Earnest BOLYER and Charity Ann CALLAHAN.

OBITUARY
Mr. Clarence Raymond Bolyer, age 81 of Castor, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City, La. following a lengthy illness. Friends may visit with the family, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 1:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Devertis Lard officiating. Interment will be in Little Hope cemetery near Castor. Mr. Bolyer is survived by his children, Delores Bedgood and husband Tony of Castor, Karen Dragoo and husband Lindsey of Oak Grove, Vance Bolyer and wife Johnnie of Jamestown, Andrew Bolyer of Bistineau, Lamar Bolyer of Castor, Ledia Pate of Ringgold, Frances Dison and husband Roy of Saline, Charlene Sanders and husband Mark of Minden, Amanda Cook and husband Dustin of Castor; step-children, Donna Phillips and husband Rodger of Oak Grove, Martha Valentine and husband Gary of Sarepta, Theresa Taylor of Oak Grove; sisters, Pauline Dyar of Ringgold, Ruth Ann Mathis of Stonewall, Maxine Nettles of Grand Prairie; 25 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Very special ones, Jessica Bolyer, Harley Jordan and Louise Brentley. Mr. Bolyer was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Brimer) Bolyer; grandchildren, Angel Bolyer and Johnnie Fowler.
