She was born May 14, 1937, in Bellefontaine, to Ralph and Thelma Braden Huffman. On Oct. 16, 1968, In Niceville, Fla., she married Wayne B. Lewis, and he died July 17, 1997.
Survivors include a son; two daughters; two brothers; a sister; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker, a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Lowell, N.C.; Order of Eastern Star in Lowell, N.C.; and White Shrine in Gastonia, N.C.
The Rev. A.W. Purdin will conduct services at 11 a.m. at Eichholtz Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rushsylvania Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
