His second wife was Mary Ellen Myrtle.

Four children were born to this union: Maude, Nellie, Minnie and William.

He married Ceilcia Permelia Mahood in 1892. She died August 1, 1932 in Parsons, Kansas.

Two children: Idella May and Roy.

The son of William M. and Margaret (Staley) Harrington.
