Howard Freeland Harvey, Jr.
Born to Howard and Mildred Castle Harvey June 25, 1944, near Philadelphia, PA., passed away July 3, 2023, at his home in Hendersonville, NC.
He is survived by his sisters, Lee Harshaw (age 90), Janice Lancaster (age 88), and many nieces and nephews who greatly admired their Uncle Hank.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Sally Hohl, and baby son William Harvey.
Here to celebrate his Homegoing is his cherished wife of 57 years, Harriett Peek Harvey, along with his son Charles, daughter-in-law Shelley, and his much loved grandsons, Nate and Joshua, all of Eugene, OR.
Howard's life was devoted to helping others, especially homeless missions and those teaching the Gospel of Jesus.
We will all miss his sweet smile, especially his family who loved him dearly. He would want everyone to know of his concern for your soul and invite you to join him in Heaven where he is at peace and healed.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Living Water Church, 1284 Sugarloaf Road, Hendersonville, NC. Visitation to be at 12 noon.
