BRADOW, Howard W. - Of Frankenmuth, age 88, died Monday April 17, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday April 21, 2000 at Bethany United Methodist Church, Rev. Roger Gedcke officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Whipple-O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 5-9PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM with a Masonic Memorial Service being held at 7PM. Mr. Bradow will lie in state at the church on Friday from 12PM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church or the Masonic Lodge #205 F.&A.M. Howard was born February 25, 1912 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Howard and Charlotte (Strong) Bradow. He had resided in the Clio area all of his life moving to Florida in 1967 and then to Frankenmuth in 1994. Howard married Ethel L. Anway December 4, 1930 in Ohio. She preceded him in death June 28, 1999. He was employed with GM for 38 years retiring in 1973. Howard was a member of the Board of Trustees at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. He was also a member of the Masons, Shriners and was past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Stars. Surviving are: sons, Gerald and wife Sandy Bradow of Clio, Glen and wife Muriel Bradow of Clio; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Dorothy Tallerday of Waterford. Howard was also preceded in death by his brother Derwood Bradow.
