Russell L. Allen, 69, of Murphy passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023.
He was the son of the late Wilford and Magdalene Beaver Allen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Maynard "Ray" Allen; and a sister, Reathel Lands.
Left to cherish his memories are his sisters, Ruth Williams (Gary), Ressie Hughes, Reba Morrow (James), Rosemary Martinson (Ken); and a special friend, Barbara Dobbins.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Jerry Morrow and Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday prior to the service. Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements.
