Andrew Jackson Morgan, son of Green and Nancy Morgan, was born in Washington County, Missouri, Feb. 9, 1884; departed this life at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lizzie Kinserlow, on January 10, 1952 at the age of 67 years.

He had spent almost his entire life in Texas County. He was a jeweler by trade and had worked at repairing clocks and watches in his and adjoining neighborhoods.

He suffered a stroke recently and, although all was done for him that could be, it was his time to keep the appointment with death.

His vocation led him to be interested in correct time, but as the sunset of life came he was ushered into the vast eternity, where time is not counted by years and a thousand years are as a day.

Those of his family who survive are the following: Two brothers, Byrd and Vincent, of Raymondville; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Boyd of Eunice, and Mrs. Lizzie Kinserlow of Simmons; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Hartshorn Church Saturday, January 12, with Mrs. Ray Miles officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of the Elliott Funeral Home.
