Ann was the oldest of thirteen children born to Walker Jackson Steward and Eunice Westmoreland Steward. She was the wife of Gerald L. Babcock. She was a Marine Corp wife and mother and lived in several states including California, Virginia and North Carolina until after her husband's retirement in 1975, when they moved to Franklin, TN. Ann retired from Walmart after 27 1/2 years. She was a member of Thompson Station Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Louis Babcock; son, Craig W. Babcock; grandson, Michael Melton; mother, Eunice W. Steward and father, Walker J. Steward; brothers, Everett Stewart, Bob Steward, R.W. Stuard, Dean Stewart, Kenneth Steward and Ronnie Stewart; sisters, Mary Goodman, Kathy Humphrey and Rebecca Stewart.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Ken) Wilson; sons, Gary (Lynn) Babcock and Zachary (Vicki) Babcock; grandchildren, Jeremy (Shelly) Melton, Adam Melton, Zac (Jillian) Babcock, Katie (Simao) Mateus, Sarah (Andrew) Holt and Savannah Babcock; great grandchildren, Hannah, Lizzie, Olivia, Lyla, Sofie, Arie, Caydan, Carsyn, Olive and Lennon; brother, Charles Stewart; sisters, Melvie (Roy) Potts and Barbara Chessor; sister in law, Clara Stewart and other loving family members.
