DEATH OF MRS. D. L. HITT
Mrs. Dan L. Hitt, 55, passed away at her home five miles northeast of Diamond at 11:40 o'clock last Thursday. She had been in ill health for more than two years.
Surviving are her husband, D.L. Hitt, three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Gordon of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Bill Boehning of Seneca and Miss Lola Hitt, at home, five sons, Fred of Long Island, N.Y., Robert of Iowa, Elmer of Springfield, Lloyd of Caruthersville and Warren Hitt at home.
Also surviving are her fathers, R.S. Martin of Joplin and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the West Union Church of Christ.

The daughter of Robert S. Martin, bp. IL. & Mary (Melugin) Martin, bp. MO.
