Fred A. Mitchell, 55 years old, prominent farmer of Florida township, Parke County, died at the home south of Catlin at noon Saturday. Surviving are the widow, Ida Ellen Mitchell; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth at home; two sisters, Mary and Alice Mitchell, of near Otterbein; five brothers, Arthur, of near Bloomingdale, Charles of Bridgeton, Lawrence of near Marshall Ind., Martin of R. R. 2 Rosedale and Marion of near Otterbein. The body was removed to the Benson funeral home and will later be returned to the residence. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olive M. E. church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute.
