CURRY, Hazel I. (Johnson) - 410 Lyon St., age 70, died Friday, September 18, 1964, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel, Garland at Third Ave., Rev. Sam H. Evans officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Curry will lie in state at Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel. Death was due to complications following a 2 1/2-week illness.

She was born in Genesee County, Michigan, on April 14, 1894, the daughter of Arthur and Esther Burnhan Bache. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Billow Chapter No. 483 of Akron, Ohio, and the Kadesh Court No. 19 Ladies' Oriental Shrine.

Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Frank Presutti of Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Charles Richard of Akron, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Sadie Taeckens of Flint; brother, Alfred Bathe of California; sister-in-law, Mrs. LaVern Bache of Genesee, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services under the auspices of the Pilgrim Chapter No. 447 O.E.S. will be held at 8 this evening at the Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel.
