Mary M. Waggoner, 72, died Sunday (July 9, 2000) at her residence in Newton.

She was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Arkansas City to Ralph Miles Mandeville and Maryetta Grace Landon Mandeville. She married Robert Ward Levoy. He died in the Korean War. She married Roy William "Shorty" Ryan in Hutchinson. He also preceded her in death in 1973. She married Jack B Waggoner Feb. 5, 1975, in Hutchinson. He survives of the home.

My grandma enjoyed playing Bingo and playing Pac Man at the old Horns laundry on Main street where the Oreily Auto part Store is now located. My Grandma loved Painting her and my grandpas rental houses in Newton. and planting flowers and all other yard work too be done on her yard on broadway in Newton Kansas.

Other survivors include: seven sons, Ralph LeVoy of Plainview, Texas, Junior LeVoy of Oklahoma, Bill LeVoy of Newton, LeRoy Ryan of Hillsboro, Terry Ryan of St. Petersburg, Fla., Danny Ryan of Winfield and Eugene Ryan of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Nancy Ryan and Maryetta Altum, both of Newton; five brothers, Jim Mandeville, Bob Mandeville and Loyd Ratzlaff, all of Hutchinson, Marion Mandeville of Hays and Robert Ratzlaff of Pennsylvania; one sister, Kathryn Apps of Hutchinson; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons and a son, Frankie William Ryan on January 21,1967 who was hit and killed on a street in Hutchinson Kansas and one daughter, Grace Ryan. She is also preceded in death by her sons Terry Duane Ryan on April 6, 2003 and Robert Ward Levoy, Jr on March 14, 2006 and Danny Dean Ryan on November 17, 2006.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. MyCherie Zimmerman of First Christian Church in Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory in Newton.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Funeral Home.

Memorials have been established with American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
