Mary Cobb was born on July 29, 1925 in Krebs to Frank and Lena (Mirlisenna) Maisano. She grew up in Krebs, and was baptized in the Catholic Church, and married Otis Cobb on Oct. 16, 1943. Since Otis was serving in the military, they lived in Lawton for a brief time, before eventually making their home in McAlester, living in the same home for 70-plus years. Mary enjoyed the many family fishing trips taken through the years and loved to go to the bingo hall on week-ends. She also enjoyed painting tea-towels. Mary was also an excellent cook. She loved to make, and share, Pizzelle's, and her hard-crust Italian bread was the best.
Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Steve Carano of McAlester; her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Glenda Cobb of Duncan; her grandchildren, Steven Carano and Andrea of Midwest City, Kristi Carano of Midwest City, Amy Curran and Scott of Downers Grove, Ill., and Adam Cobb and Anne of San Antonio, Tx.; great grandchildren, Michaela Ray, Aiden Ray, Ray Curran, Asprey Curran, Rylan Cobb, and Sam Carano; and a sister, Theresa Watson of McAlester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis; her parents, Frank and Lena Maisano; sisters, Angelina Carano and Rose Boyse; and brothers, Tony, Paul, Jimmy, Mike, Joe P., Johnny, and Dee Maisano
