Belle the wife of Frank Albert Shelton and daughter of Jessie K. Saling from Missouri. Her husband Frank was a mining promoter, they lived in many places in Idaho. They homesteaded the Shelton Place at the forks of the road leading to Placer Basin, Black Lake, Landore and Cuprum. Belle had a large garden and fed the miners and freighters hauling into the mines. They lived on the Kleinschmidt Grade while Frank worked his mine at Shelton Gulch.
Belle was preceded in death by a daugher, Eva Warner and a son Earl.
