Chester P. Bostick, 'Mr. B', passed away June 10, 2004 in Palm Desert. He was born Nov. 11, 1921 in Portales. N.M. He was the manager for the only theater and the two drive-ins from 1963 to 1987, becoming the unofficial babysitter for thousand of children every Saturday. He later became an employee for the wonderful Del Taco Company. He was an Army veteran.He is survived by his wife, Leona Bostick, of Palm Springs; children, Sandra Worswick and family of Palm Springs, Bart Bostick and family of Catherdral City; and Craig Bostick and family of Chico; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
