Mrs. Fenton married Jack Fenton on Dec. 1, 1945, in Richmond. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Richmond and Order of the Eastern Star, Richmond Chapter.
She enjoyed bowling, cooking and cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Michigan State Spartans where her husband was an all- star player in 1941.
Mrs. Fenton is survived by her daughters, Patricia Fenton of Richmond and Annie (Michael) Quinn of Casco Township; grandson, Michael Carlson; step-grandchildren, Kim (Brian) Doyle, Michelle (Bill) Tack and Mike (Angie) Quinn; sister, Mildred Roeder of Romeo; sister-in-law, Vicky Fenton of Clinton Township; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, on July 20, 1992; siblings, Melvin, Marvin, Alger, William, Myrtle and Marjorie Bark, and Elaine Malstrom.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Church of Christ, Richmond, with the Rev. Jennifer Long officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
