Bill worked in the construction industry most of his life. He owned his own construction business in the Kennard and Blair, NE area for several years prior to moving to Kimberling City, MO. He worked for various commercial construction companies in the Branson and Springfield areas. He loved to build things for family and friends and continued doing this until his passing. Along with woodworking, he enjoyed traveling, gardening and always looking for a good recipe.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children; daughter Roxanne Nielsen of Kennard, NE; son Rick Rosenbaum, of Blair, NE; and daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Kahnk of Blair, NE; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister Sharon Arp; Nieces and Nephews; and special loved ones Marge Byington, Reeds Spring, MO, Michelle Abrahams, Kim (Jason) Brandsma and family, Kevin (Tammy) Byington, and Mike (Nikki) Byington and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Harlan Christensen; son-in-law Dennis (Buckshot) Nielsen and brother-in-law Vernon Arp.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church Kimberling City, MO with Father Suresh Samala officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
