Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Carl Richard "Ricky" Wright, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home.
The family will receive friends 4 – 6 pm Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Whitesell Funeral Home, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
A native of York County, Mr. Wright was a son of Carl L. Wright and the late Ruth N. Wright. He was employed by Synteen Technical Fibers of Lancaster, SC. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family, as well as his Synteen family. He was an artist, he loved to do family history research, and loved his two fur babies (Caroline and Ginger).
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Beam Wright; three daughters, Cynthia Lynn Wright (Bryan), Christina Marie Wright (Daniel), and Katherine Denise Jones (Stephen); 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, James E. Wright, Jeffrey A. Wright, and Steven W. Wright. Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Wright.
