Alfred was a hardworking man. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and watching NASCAR racing. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Edwin, Alvin, Arnold, Harry, Oscar, and Julius Seewer.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Mildred J. Seewer; sons, David L. (Sonya) Seewer, Dennis R. (Mary) Seewer, and Steven J. (Pam) Seewer; 7 grandchildren, Angela (deceased), Josh, Tyler, Kayden, Alicia, Damon, and Stephanie; 7 great-grandchildren, Avery, Aiden, Ella, Rowan, Jonah, Ford, and Georgie; brother, Herman (Jeanette) Seewer; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023. His Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, IN.
