Nancy A. Wehunt passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1952 in Buncombe County, NC, the daughter of Wilson and Alice Ann Keuling Ayers. For 12 years, she taught Central Carolina School for the Deaf. She continued to work with the deaf after her retirement. She loved the Lord and enjoyed writing about Him. She was an active member of Christ Covenant Church and taught at the church. She dearly loved her two miniature dachshunds, Cuddles and Annie Grace. Nancy was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Lloyd Wehunt of the home; sister, Linda Wilson and husband Al of Spartanburg, SC; nephews; Joshua Wilson of Columbia, SC and Matthew Wilson of New York City.

Memorials may be made in Nancy's memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405. Services will be held at a later date.
