Rev. Roscoe M. Williams
Republic - The Rev. Roscoe M. Williams, 77, Republic, died at 5:15PM Monday, Dec. 5, 1994, in his home.
Rev. Williams was a retired minister. He was a member of Brown Avenue Baptist Church, Springfield, and served as Pastor there a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Erma; six sons, Joe Williams, Springfield, Marty Williams, Rogersville, Frank Dodd, Brighton, Gary Dodd, Springfield, Tony Dodd, Ritchey, and Dennis Dodd, Republic; two daughters, Gloria Rikard, Springfield, and Pat Updike, Republic; three brothers, Eddie, Frank and John Williams Jr., all of Springfield; two sisters, Elizabeth Everts, Springfield, and Marie Davis, Clever; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, in Meadors Chapel, Republic, with the Revs. Ralph Noble and Larry Neil officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
