June Waltman passed away at McLaren Hospital in Bay City, Michigan on August 18th, 2020 at the age of 83. Born and raised in Bay City she was a graduate of Handy High School, attended college at the University of Michigan and received her Master's Degree from UCCS in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
June was always smiling- she was one of the happiest people who was always there to help or give a kind word. As a woman of faith, she attended services regularly at Calvary and Woodman Valley Chapel. June's passion was for teaching- it was her lifelong career. She taught as far away as in Bangkok, Thailand, she worked with developmentally challenged students at S.A. Wilson and as an elementary school teacher at French Elementary School in Widefield, CO. She instilled the love of learning and she knew each and every one of her students by name. She was even voted teacher of the year!
June was the daughter of Leroy Adair and Viola Thibault.
