Mrs. Annie Allison

Mrs. Annie Allison, wife of Ennis Allison of Chester R. D. 1, died Sunday at 6:50 p.m. at City Hospital, after several year's illness. She was 75. Mrs. Allison was born Sept. 11, 1885, in Hancock County, a daughter of the late James and Ella Lyons. She was a member of the Chester First Methodist Church and the Just - a - Mere - Club of Chester. In addition to her husband, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John Raffa of Wellsville, Mrs. William Campbell of Hookstown, Mrs. Kenneth Smith of Lisbon and Mrs. Quentin Lucas of Rochester, N. Y.; a son, Cecil Allison of East Liverpool; a brother, Ora Lyons of Weirton; two sisters, Mrs. Norman Virtue of Weirton and Mrs. Lee Glass of New Cumberland, and 22 grandchildren and 15 grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown by the Rev. Paul J. Dippolito of the Methodist Church. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery at Chester. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight and Tuesday night.
