Henry M. Herin, son of the late Walter S. and Anna (Huffman) Herin, was born January 3, 1911 in Davenport, Iowa. He departed this life January 9, 2000, making his age at the time of his death 89 years and 6 days. He married Ruth Mary Northcott in 1936. To this union was born one daughter, Emily Ann. They lived in Illinois until 1942, when they moved to Licking. Ruth preceded him in death in 1952. On October 27, 1953 he was united in marriage to Etta (Holland) (Craig). The family will always remember him as a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a painter, wall paper hanger and electrician. He worked for Intercounty Electric for twenty-six years. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his wife, Etta, as long as his health permitted. He taught Sunday School at The Presbyterian Church in Berkley, IL He served on the City of Licking Board of Aldermen and on the Board of Licking Park Manor Nursing Home.. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene. He is survived by his wife Etta, of the home; one daughter, Emily and husband, Doyle Nelson of Licking; one step-son, Robert Loyd and wife, Mary Kay Craig of Belleville, IL; step-daughter, Ruby and husband, RC Garrison of Denver, CO; step-daughter, Barbara Robinson of Maryland Heights, MO; one sister, Lola Hostetler of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Bert Herin of Washingtonn, IA: grandchildren; Brian Lynn Nelson and wife, Cheryl; Brenda Dee Nelson and husband, Greg; Bradley Nelson and wife, Karen; step-grandchildren; John Craig and wife, Linda, , Karen Craig, Robert Craig, Gary Garrison, Darold Garrison and wife, Cheryl; Steven Robinson and wife, Mary, Keith Robinson and wife Hilarie; great-grandchildren: Noah and Quinton Nelson, Daniel and Anthony Nelson; great-step-grandchildren: Curtis Garrison, Aaron Garrison, Johua Robinson, Elijaah Robinson, Shannon, Joannne and Kathlyn Denson; several nieces and nephews
