D'ANGELO - Rose A., 91, of Johnstown, went to be with her Lord on February 27, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 28, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of Phillip and Mary (Cadili) Verrone. Preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Michael, brothers Louis, Samuel, Joseph, Sylvester, James, and William; and sister Josephine Petrore. Survived by loving children Michael married to Georgia (Berkey), of Johnstown, and RoseMarie wife of Gary McClelland, of Johnstown, grandchildren Michael D'Angelo III, Lori Zitelli wife of Brian, Bonnie Morris wife of Mike, 2 great grandchildren Tarynn Morris, Matthew Zitelli, and one on the way. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Rose was a kind and generous soul to everyone who knew her and loved cooking and baking for all of her family and friends. She was affectionately known as "Mrs. D" to everyone, and was surrogate mom and grandma to many. She had a strong faith and was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend to all who knew her. A special thanks for the care and compassion she received from the staff at The Rose of Sharon Home, who became her extended family. Also, a special thank you to Conemaugh ICU for their skill and loving care. Friends received from 2-8 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, EAST HILLS CHAPEL & CREMATORY, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904 (Near PA Drivers Center and Armory).
