Glade E. England, age 85, passed away March 23, 2008 at his home in Murray, Utah.








He was born September 28, 1922 in Tooele, Utah to Franklin England and Mary Matilda Bolinder. Married Afton Allen on February 14, 1950. They are the parents of six children, 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Glade's life was one of service. He joined the Air Corps in 1942 and served in the European Theater. He was called to serve a mission in the Western States Mission. After his return from his mission and subsequent marriage, he worked at Tooele Army Depot for 40 years. He and his wife then served missions in the California Oakland Mission, California Los Angeles Mission, and Salt Lake City Mission with the Native Americans. Following that service, he was a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple.







He is survived by his wife and children, Coleen (Denny) Stutznegger, JoDean (Stan) Wright, Allen (Jolene) England, James (Janice) England, Gordon (Lori) England, and Jan (Derek) Christensen; sister, Leile (Elmer) Wilson; and sister-in-law, Jean England. Preceded in death by brother, Leslie England.







Funeral Services will be held on Fri., March 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Salt Lake Cottonwood Stake Center, 6400 S. 1830 E. Friends and Family may call Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and Fri. from 10-10:45 a.m at the Church prior to Services.
Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
