William "Bill" Angus McIntosh Sr. Canyon, TX, age 89, was born on April 20 th or April 2nd , 1933, in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Lloyd Douglas McIntosh and Ella Nora King. He passed away November 6 th , 2022, at his daughters' residence in Burnet, TX.

He is survived by his brothers, Dwight McIntosh (Nancy) of Fowler CO, and John McIntosh, Falcon CO, sister Mary Miller La Junta CO. , brother in law Jimmy Earthman Amarillo, TX, his children Sidney McIntosh (Eva) Edmund Ok, Gary McIntosh, Smithville, MO, Juanita Denyer, Monet, MO, Zella Denise Daves, (Bill) Clapham, NM, Jerry Jackson, (Gayle) Garden City, KS, Shawnie Reames, Dayton, TN, Janie Crumpler (Mike) Burnet, TX, Kelle Venable, Amarillo, TX and many grandchildren, great- grand -children, nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers & sisters Lyman McIntosh, Juanita "Stubby" Flemming, Marcella McIntosh, Richard McIntosh, Malcolm McIntosh, Edward McIntosh, Dorothy Kincaid, his children William Terry McIntosh, Kevin McIntosh, William Angus McIntosh, Jr., Cheryl Blevins, and his beloved wife Linda Earthman McIntosh.

Bill was a proud Army Veteran having served as a member of the 8 nd Airborne Division as a Paratrooper and completing more than 50 jumps. He participated in Operation Longhorn in 1952, where members of the 82 nd Airborne captured the town of Lampasas, TX during a simulated mock Communist military invasion of the town. He was a member of the VFW Post 490 Canyon, TX and was honored to participate in placing a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier during the Texas Panhandle Honor Flight in October of 2015.

A celebration of life for Linda and William will be planned in early spring 2023 in Luckenbach, TX.
