Mrs. Adkins was born in Rock Hill, SC, and was the daughter of the late Thomas L. Baker and the late Henrietta Nettles Baker. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked for Ostrow Industries in Rock Hill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adkins is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Adkins, Sr., her brothers, Randall Baker, Jack Baker, and Tommy Baker.
Mrs. Adkins is survived her two sons, William F Adkins, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC, Fred Adkins of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Mandi (Russell) Pate of York, SC, Tori (Michael) Charles of Rock Hill, SC, Tripp Adkins of York, SC, Billy (Melanie) Adkins of Richburg, SC, and Tyler (Phillip) Adkins of York, SC; her great-grandchildren, Kaylan (John) Petty, Caitlin (Kevin) Hunter, Austin (Angela) Pate, Cadin (Becca) Alvarado, Abriel (Phillip) Alvarado, Brie-Anna Charles, Noah Charles, Will Adkins, Mason Adkins, Audra Adkins, Briella Adkins, Audriana Adkins, Kamilla Adkins; and five great-great-grandchildren.
